Frauke’s entire professional life has been focused on German employment law. She advises clients across the full range of individual employment disputes, with particular strength in dismissal challenges, settlement negotiations, and reference-letter corrections.
Career
Frauke studied law at the University of Bonn. She trained in employment law throughout her academic and professional career: as a student research assistant, then trainee, then associate at Seitz Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater in Cologne — a mid-sized firm specialising in employment law for employers and employees.
During her Referendariat she completed stations at the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and the German Federal Chancellery (Bundeskanzleramt) in Berlin.
She completed the Fachanwaltslehrgang Arbeitsrecht in 2021 and has been in-house counsel in the employment-law team of Germany’s largest DIY retail group since 2023.
